Paragon not only has experience in directly managing cardiology groups and hospital cardiovascular service lines, but also has extensive field experience in assisting cardiovascular providers throughout the United States on a wide range of issues critical to contemporary success. Paragon’s services are delivered through four products: Paragon Executive, Paragon Complete, Paragon Executive Recruitment & Paragon Consulting.
We are aggressively recruiting our newest Executive Director to lead an established 12 physician cardiology practice is Erie, Pennsylvania. Accountable to the practice Board and Paragon President, this ED will lead the strategic and operational functions of the practice. Essentially the challenge boils down to managing internal and external constituents and growing this business. This will require a high degree of both business and financial acumen combined with the command skills and intellectual horse power of gifted, focused leadership personality. Are you up to the task?
Responsibilities:
As an ambassador of Paragon Health, it is essential the ED present an excellent image, in perception and in fact, to the local practice and local community. In turn, it is vital that you are able to develop an effective partnership and trusting relationship with Paragon leadership, and all Paragon business partners. Similarly, you must capitalize on opportunities to develop partnerships with local physicians, management and support staff, as well as local practice partners. It will also be your responsibility to facilitate effective and efficient practice Board functioning and decision-making.
Internally, you will oversee all business and financial aspects of the practice, optimize performance, and supervise management staff. You will develop and oversee the practice mission, vision & long-term strategic plan in accordance with the local physician Board/Paragon approved business plan. You are obligated to lead by example with regard to work ethic, positive communication, effective leadership, ethical standards & achievement of results. Likewise, ensuring compliance with all federal and state regulations, especially those governing health care delivery, is a must. You will be responsible for the human resource functions of the practice, including compliance with all regulations and guidelines, as well as recruiting and retaining top physician and staff talent.
Requirements:
Superior communication skills, the ability to think on your feet and a solution driven attitude are all required. An MBA/MHA is highly preferred, a bachelors degree is a must have. Continuing education credits, and an awareness of local, regional, and national trends within health care (generally and cardiology specifically) are all essential tools for success.
